Room Policies: 
Check-In & Check-Out: Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m., and check-out is at 11:00 a.m. Should your plans change, early check-out is available—please notify the front desk by the day of arrival. Early departures may be subject to an overnight room charge. Late check-out may be arranged based on availability on the day of departure; departures after 2:00 p.m. will incur an additional fee.
Rates & Property Guidelines: Rates are subject to change. The Tennessean is a smoke-free property. To preserve the comfort of all guests, a $300 cleaning fee will be applied if smoking occurs in a guest room or suite.
Families & Extra Comforts: Children 17 years and under stay complimentary when accompanied by an adult. Cribs and rollaway beds are available upon request and subject to availability; additional fees may apply.
Connectivity: Complimentary Wi-Fi (up to 3 Mbps) is available throughout the hotel. High-speed Wi-Fi may be added for $10 plus tax per day. 

Urban Amenities Fee: A daily urban amenity fee (plus applicable tax) will be applied to all reservations. The Urban Amenities Fee includes: Property-wide high speed internet access (in both public and private spaces), unlimited local and toll-free calls, fitness room access, Executive Black Car service with-in 3mile radius, Executive Cart service to nearby destinations, Evening Relaxation Ritual Amenity, Daily turndown service.

Cancellation Policy: All reservations require a credit card at the time of booking. Reservations must be canceled at least 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid a penalty, excluding non-refundable reservations and blackout dates. Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival, or failure to cancel, will result in a charge equal to one night’s room and tax. A $100 incidental hold will be placed on your credit card at check-in. Blackout date policies apply, including football weekends and special event dates.

Special Event & Football Policy: 30-Day cancellation required. Full deposit (room and tax) taken at 30-days prior to arrival and in non-refundable. 

Parking Policy: For a seamless arrival and departure, valet parking is available at The Tennessean. Overnight valet service is offered at $40 per night, plus tax. Please note that during citywide events and peak travel periods, special event parking rates may apply and are subject to availability.

Pet Policy: Please call the hotel to make the reservation. Dogs only up to 50lbs. A non-refundable pet deposit of $100.00 per stay is required. Guests must inform hotel prior to arrival if pet will be accompanying them. Guests responsible for any damage, interruption of other guests or failure to clean up after dog. Dogs must be kenneled if left alone in the room. Dog beds available upon request.
