THE TENNESSEAN is a smoke-free property. A minimum $250 fee will be charged if smoking occurs in a guest room, plus any additional cleaning costs.

A daily fee ($20.00 plus applicable tax per room per day) will be applied to all reservations. On-Site Parking:  THE TENNESSEAN offers valet parking exclusively for $25 per day and $40 for overnight parking, which will be charged to your room.
Off-Site Parking:  Self-parking options are available at public parking lots and garages throughout the downtown area.  Their published rates will apply.

Some room types, including the Panoramic King, select Panoramic Suites, and the Governor’s Suite, offer views of World’s Fair Park. Please request your preferred view when booking.

"The Sunsphere, built for the 1982 World’s Fair, is Knoxville’s most iconic landmark. Visitors can tour the observation deck by purchasing tickets online through Visit Knoxville or on-site.

During University of Tennessee Volunteer football team (Go Vols!) home game weekends, full payment is required 30 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable. A two-night minimum stay (Friday–Saturday) is required.

We offer guests of THE TENNESSEAN Hotel transportation to all UT Knoxville home games via a 35-passenger bus with Premier Transportation. Contact the Front Desk at 865-232-1800 for routes and schedules.
