Long Pour Bourbon Pairing Experience

Guests of The Tennessean have long enjoyed the tantalizing aroma of Smoked Old Fashioneds as they step off the elevators and into the 2nd floor Drawing Room. Now patrons can embark on an evening of thoughtfully crafted dishes and bourbon pairings with Long Pour, a new three-course bourbon dinner experience available on Wednesday evenings. Poured in stages, each course is paired with a distinctive bourbon, presented in artisan glassware handcrafted by Pretentious Glass. The journey begins with Bardstown Bourbon Prisoner 9 Year alongside a Pear, Cherry & Walnut Salad, continues with Lobster-Stuffed Beef Tenderloin paired with Old Fitzgerald 7 Year Bottled-in-Bond, and concludes with Colonel E.H. Taylor Small Batch and a Pecan Espresso Brownie.

Named for a place of gathering, conversation, and pause, The Drawing Room is where the spirit of The Tennessean comes to the table. Just as rivers once drew traders, storytellers, and travelers together, this thoughtful setting invites guests to connect and savor. That sense of place extends to the glassware. Crafted locally by the master glassblowers of Pretentious Glass, each handcrafted piece brings the artistry of Knoxville’s Old City to the table. Guests who wish to take home a piece of the experience can purchase their glass, which will be cleaned and carefully packaged as a keepsake.

For a limited time, guests are invited to experience Long Pour at a special introductory price of $99 per person throughout October.*
