Festival on The Fourth

A fun, free, family-friendly event to celebrate the 4th of July with activities including axe-throwing, mini-golf games and paddle boats, as well as food vendors and free concert performances by Knoxville Symphony Orchestra and Dirty Grass Soul. The festival culminates in a fireworks launch from the Henley Bridge at approximately 9:45 p.m. Rain or shine.

July 4th, 2026

  • 5:00 pm – 7:55 pm: Dirty Grass Soul, Festival Lawn stage
  • 8:00 pm: Knoxville Symphony Orchestra’s 42nd Annual Free Lawson Family Foundation Independence Day Concert, Performance Lawn stage
  • 9:45 pm: Fireworks launch from the Henley Bridge
